Country Home, Isara

A country home set on a generous plot in Isara, Ogun State, designed as a calm retreat that opens out to its surroundings. The house trades a tight urban footprint for space to breathe, with shaded outdoor living and rooms that follow the light through the day.

The design keeps the palette warm and unfussy, letting the setting do the work. It was developed from concept through 3D visualization and coordinated floor plans.

The brief

A comfortable home away from the city, planned to make the most of its plot and open generously to the outdoors while staying easy and low-maintenance to run.

Living with the landscape

Living areas open onto shaded outdoor space so the house connects to its setting rather than closing off from it. The plan is arranged for cross-ventilation and daylight, keeping interiors bright and cool.

Floor plans

Two coordinated levels organise shared and private spaces into a relaxed, easy-to-read layout. The plans below show the arrangement across the home.

Visualization

Renders were produced to study the massing, materials, and the relationship between the house and its grounds before construction.
