Physiotherapy Building, UCH Ibadan
A dedicated physiotherapy building for University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. The design puts patient comfort and easy movement first, with generous, daylit treatment areas and a clear, accessible circulation route through the building.
Spaces are arranged so patients, including those with limited mobility, can find their way and move between areas without strain, while staff keep clear lines of supervision. The project was developed through concept and 3D visualization.

The brief
A modern physiotherapy facility that feels calm and reassuring rather than clinical, with accessible, barrier-free circulation and treatment spaces sized for equipment and comfortable movement.
Patient-centred layout
The plan keeps routes short and legible, with level, step-free movement between treatment areas. Waiting, assessment, and therapy spaces are arranged to give patients privacy while keeping staff supervision easy.
Light and materials
Daylight is brought deep into the treatment areas and softened to avoid glare, paired with a warm, durable material palette suited to a busy healthcare setting.
Visualization
Renders were produced to study the massing, elevations, and interiors, giving a clear read of the finished building before construction.
